Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy Recipe

This gravy it is delicious and you can have it done right in your own kitchen, also this gravy is testier when you combine it with mashed potatoes, you can have a great dinner with these very simple ingredients.
You will need: Cube steaks (4) Salt (divided) Black pepper (1 ¾ teaspoons, divided) All purpose flour (1 cup) Lightly beaten (2 eggs) Lard (1/4 cup) Milk (1 cup) How to do it: The first step is to seasoned the meat with the salt and the pepper, this would be ¼ of each, and then set it aside.
Now take a shallow dish and in here mix the flour and another teaspoon of pepper, once you have this mix dredge each steak in flour and once you have this done, take egg and place flour in it.
Now that you have this done take a large skillet and fry the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or if you prefer fry them until they have reached a golden brown color.
After you have done this, dry the steaks into paper towels and then four the fat out from the skillet, all but 2 tablespoons, and now take 2 tablespoons of the flour into the oil and cook over medium heat for at least 1 minute, scraping up any browned bit from the bottom of the skillet, now that you did this gradually whisk in milk and cook, but keep stirring frequently for at least 2 to 4 minutes and it will become tickly and bubbly and after this add ¼ teaspoons of salt and pepper and after this the gravy should be quite peppery.
