Happiness and Anxiety Alike?

Someone was overheard to say that anxiety can look like happiness.
Really? By what stretch of whose imagination? The two are not even remotely connected.
Happiness is created from within our being.
It is a permanent resident of our psyche, part and parcel of who we are.
Anxiety is caused by outside forces.
The only relationship is that one may feel happiness when anxiety is gone.
There are similarities in the nature of both things.
Both happiness and anxiety can have many different degrees of intensity.
Both can be brought out by any number of reasons.
Both show to the outside world.
Happy people smile, even though at times only in your eyes.
Anxious people show it the tension in the face and shoulders and their irregular breathing.
No one tries to get rid of that happy feeling.
Everyone tries to lose anxieties.
You have to look at anxiety, recognize it and try to defeat it right away.
Drop your head to your chest and roll it around in a circle.
Drop your shoulders.
Take a long, slow, deep breath.
These simple things help you control those familiar feelings of anxiety.
Happiness and anxiety are almost totally opposite conditions.
One comes from a within, one from without.
One should be nurtured.
One should be eliminated.
One can be enjoyed, one barely tolerated.
Which ever you feel at any given time is more within your control than you may presently realize.
They are NOT similar things.
They neither look nor feel similar in any way.
