Rose Quartz Bunny Charm Bracelet

Pink makes me think of spring and Easter time, but this bracelet, which is a subtle node to Easter, can be worn all year long.

To make a Rose Quartz Bunny Charm Bracelet, you will need the following tools and supplies:

*5 - 1/2 inch Circle tag charms in nickel silver
*1 "Hopper" bunny 6mm design stamp
*Brass hammer
*6 - 5mm Anodized aluminum 19-guage jump ring
Anvil
20 - 6mm Rose quartz round beads
14 - 4mm Clear aurora borealis Swarovski bicone crystal beads
2 - 2x2mm Crimp sterling beads
1 - 15mm Silver colored lobster claw clasp
10 inches of .014 Beading wire
Silver Black
Polishing cloth
Cotton swab and paper towels
Wire cutters
2 Chain-nosed pliers
1 Bead Stoppers
Crimping pliers

* These items were sent to me by Impress Art. You can locate stores and distributors on the company's web site.

Stamp Charms

1. Place one of the circle tag charms on an anvil.

2. Position the "hopper" stamp in the middle, and with a brass hammer, strike the top of the meal stamp.

Attach Jump Rings

3. Repeat steps 1 through 2 for the other four charms.

4. Using a pair of chain nosed pliers in each hand, open a jump ring, slip one of the charms onto the ring, and close the jump ring back.

5. Repeat step 4 for the other four jump rings.

Silver Black Charms

6. Place the charms on a paper towel.
7. Dip a cotton swab inside a bottle of Silver Black to dampen.

8. Rub the cotton swab on each of the charms on the side where you stamped the bunny previously.

9. With a polishing cloth, rub each charm. This will take off a little of the blackening and help to show the stamping a little better.

String on Rose Quartz and Crystal Beads

10. Attach a bead stopper to one end of the beading wire.

11. String on one rose quartz bead, one crystal bead, one rose quartz bead, one crystal bead, one rose quartz bead, one crystal bead, and another rose quartz bead. (So that is four rose quartz beads alternating with three crystal beads.)

12. Slip one of the charms onto the beading wire.

13. String on one rose quartz bead, one crystal bead, one rose quartz bead, one crystal bead, and one rose quartz bead.

(So that is three rose quartz beads alternating with two crystal beads.)

14. Add another charm.

Charms and Beads

15. Repeat steps 13 and 14 three times.

16. Repeat step eleven to complete the bead pattern.

Add Lobster Claw Clasp

17. Slip a crimp bead and a lobster claw clasp onto one end of the beading wire.

18. Bend the beading wire and insert it back through the crimp bead, and use crimping pliers to secure the crimp bead.

19. Trim off any excess beading wire with wire cutters.

20. Slip a crimp bead and a jump ring onto one end of the beading wire.

21. Bend the beading wire and insert it back through the crimp bead, and use crimping pliers to secure the crimp bead.

22. Trim off any excess beading wire with wire cutters.

The completed bracelet measure about 7 1/2 inches in length. Between the charms and the crystals, this bracelet reflects a lot of light, so it was challenging to get a decent picture of it; however, if you look closely, you can see the cute bunnies on each charm.
