How to Be a Successful Marketer - The Creativity Cycle - Part 1
Most of the internet marketing gurus, successful MLM creators, authors, motivational speakers and other creators of valuable intellectual property have one thing in common - they make great use of their creative skills.
Creativity is what sets them apart from the vast majority of people and it is what puts money in their pockets year after year.
I mean think about this fact alone, George Lucas wrote the Star Wars series in the mid-1970s.
He is still coming out with creative content such as movies and now the Clone Wars cartoon series, nearly 30 years after he wrote the story upon which it is based.
If you want to generate long-term wealth, you had better figure out how to be creative.
The process of creativity in my estimation is a multi-step process that takes time.
The steps are as follows: Step 1.
) Awareness-Comes from being exposed to new ideas, new ways of looking at things.
Reading is a primary method of this.
Books such as Think and Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Multiple Streams of Income, Unlock the Creativity Within (my e-book) are all good points to start from to raise your awareness and consciousness and be made aware of your power to create wealth.
Step 2.
) Creativity-Is not as elusive as one might think.
We all possess some level of creativity, it just may have to be unlocked.
How do we unlock our creativity? By discovering one's passions.
What makes you excited? Is it travel, movies, books, painting, music, some hobby? Pursue those things.
Take a journal with you and write out your thoughts while doing those things are shortly after.
Describe how you feel.
Express yourself and your thoughts as best as you can.
Step 3.
) Goal Setting-In the context of creating your own system involves first mapping out your objectives.
I am not simply talking about monetary goals although those can and should be a part of your goal setting as well.
To begin with your goals might be such things as: learn basic html, set up a simple website, write an article to market a product.
These three steps outlined above are the first three of six steps required to developing a process which results in continuous creativity.
I would recommend spending a few hours thinking about these steps and putting them into practice and see what kinds of results are produced.
