How to Blog For Money - The Difference Between Hobby Bloggers & Making an Explosive Income Now

12
Who else wants to learn how to blog for money? If you are anything like most of our readers, the simple truth is that you've had your fill or blogging for fun, and are really ready to start turning your prose..
..
into profit, right? It's actually super simple to make money with a blog if you know what you're doing, and if you are a decent writer, there are really only subtle, but significant differences between doing it for fun and free, versus making a full time living from the power of your words.
So what is the BIG difference between blogs that earn no cash...
and those that make big piles of it every month?
Easy! Very simply, it's a function of focus.
Are you focused on what YOU want to say, or write about..
...
or are you focused on what you're readers want to read about? These are often very different things, and the only way you'll ever really discover which side of the street you fall on is the amount of research you do into the needs, wants and eye opening interests that you're readers really have.
For example, keyword research that you incorporate into blog post titles and categories, can often be the difference between a few hundred visitors a month...
and a few thousand visitors a day! And ironically, the quality of the writing you are putting out can be exactly the same, while getting disproportionately different results.
Doing the proper keyword research, knowing what phrases are most apt to give you traffic, AND, equally as importantly, are most likely to optimize the ads you're serving up on your site (especially if you are running contextual advertising like Google AdSense or Yahoo Publisher) can result in DRAMATICALLY different payouts on the content on your pages.
Work Harder But Not Smarter I know passionate bloggers who work 4 or 5 hours a day and make no money...
and pragmatic bloggers who work 4 or 5 hours a week and are making 4 and 5 figures a month.
(and often much more..
:-) The biggest difference is focus - and if you adopt a smart one, blogging is one of the most fulfilling, easiest and most rewarding ways to make an income that I know of...
and if you get started, I think you'll agree!
