How to Uninstall an Existing DVD Decoder

    • 1). Click "Start."

    • 2). Click "Control Panel." Windows 95-XP users will have to click "Settings" and then "Control Panel."

    • 3). Open the "Programs and Features" icon. Windows 95-XP users should open the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.

    • 4). Click once on the name of your DVD decoder.

    • 5). Click the "Remove" button.

    • 6). Click "Next" from the window that appears on screen. This will uninstall the existing DVD decoder on your computer. When the process is finished, the decoder's files will have been removed from your hard drive, and any entries it made to your registry will also have been deleted.
