How to Brew With Star Bread Yeast
- 1). Take the pot and fill it with 2 cups of water. Place on the stove and heat until boiling.
- 2). Fill the glass measuring cup with one cup of the hot water. Now cover the container with Saran wrap. This will keep any outside microbes out of the water, and keep the water sterile.
- 3). Place the glass container in the refrigerator to cool down. We are looking for a temperature of around 100 degrees. You will know this temperature as it is hot, but not too hot to touch.
- 4). Remove the Saran wrap and dump the Star Bread yeast in the glass container. Cover the container again and let sit for several minutes. After several minutes uncover and with a clean fork move the yeast around a bit to break it up some. A little bit of movement is all that is needed. Cover the container again and wait for 10 or 15 minutes.
- 5). Now you are ready to add the yeast to the wort to make beer.
