Making Archery Targets
- 1). Place the tarp on the floor. Punch a hole in the lower left corner of the tarp. Measure a half inch up from the hole. Make another hole with the punch. Repeat this procedure along the side of the tarp until you reach the top. Repeat this procedure with the right side of the tarp.
- 2). Fold the right side of the tarp over to the left side. Line up the holes on the left side of the two pieces of the tarp.
- 3). Push the end of a piece of twine in the two holes in the lower left corner of the tarp. Push the end of the twine out the two holes next to the one it just went through. Repeat this procedure of pushing the twine in and out of the tarp until you reach the top of the left side. Tie a knot in the end of the twine where it exits the holes at the top. Cut off any excess twine with scissors. You now have a 10 foot square piece of tarp.
- 4). Stuff wadded up plastic shopping bags between the two pieces of tarp.
- 5). Punch a hole in the lower left corner of the tarp. Measure a half inch across from the hole. Make another hole with the punch. Repeat this procedure along the bottom of the tarp until you reach the other side. Repeat this procedure with the top of the tarp.
- 6). Fold the bottom of the tarp over to the top. Line up the holes of the two pieces of the tarp.
- 7). Push the end of a piece of twine in the two holes in the lower left corner of the tarp. Push the end of the twine out the two holes next to the one it just went through. Repeat this procedure of pushing the twine in and out of the tarp until you reach the right side. Tie a knot in the end of the twine where it exits the holes at the right. Cut off any excess twine with the scissors.
- 8). Place the bullseye gun target face down on a table. Place strips of double-stick tape to the bullseye gun target.
- 9). Stand the tarp up against a pole or shelf at a rifle range. Place the side of the bullseye gun target that has the double-stick tape on it against the side of the tarp to complete your archery target.
