• 1). Download iTunes from the Apple website and install it on your computer. Then, open iTunes.
  
  
• 2). Click "Edit" and then click "Preferences" to customize your user preferences. Click "General." Click "Import Settings" and then click the "Import Using" drop-down menu. Choose "MP3" from the list.
  
  
• 3). Insert a music CD and click "Import" when iTunes asks if you'd like to import the songs in MP3 format. The music tracks on the CD will appear in your iTunes library.
  
  
• 4). Close iTunes. Connect the MP3 player to a USB port on the computer. Drag the imported MP3 tracks from your "iTunes Music" folder to the MP3 player.
  
  

Free Rip

• 1). Download free CD ripper software from the FreeRip.com website and install the app on your computer. Launch the program.
  
  
• 2). Click "View" and then click "Ripper" to open the CD-ripper panel. Insert a music CD. After 10 seconds, click "File" and "Refresh CD" to load the tracks in the MP3 ripper.
  
  
• 3). Click the red check mark icon at the top of the screen to select all of the tracks on the disc. Click the "Output Format" menu and choose "MP3." Click "Rip."
  
  
• 4). Connect your MP3 player to a USB port on your computer. Drag the converted files from the "My Documents" folder on the computer to your player.
  
  

FocusSoft

• 1). Download and install Free CD Ripper 3.1 from the FocusSoft.net website. Launch the application.
  
  
• 2). Insert a music CD. Click the "Device" drop-down menu and choose your CD drive from the list. Click "Output Format" at the top of the window and choose "MP3" from the drop-down list.
  
  
• 3). Click "Extract" to begin ripping music files from the CD. Connect your MP3 player to a USB port on your computer and then drag the MP3 tracks from "My Documents" to your MP3 player.
