The Only Obstacle is "Me"

10
So your in your 2nd month of trying to make money from home. You can also put first month, third month maybe even further into. But it isn't going like you had planned when you started this venture. You had big plans of being all these things by now....an entrepreneur, rich, plenty of free time, do whatever you want to. But things are going the way you originally planned, but why?

Trust me you are not alone, 95% of all new business {whether brick and morter or and online business} FAIL! You look at that number and think "I should never have gotten myself into this, I have wasted my money. You may be correct, this kind of opportunity isn't for everyone, but wait! First lets look at why only 5% succeed? Everyone's first thought would be "money". And you would be wrong! Most fail because of a poor startup plan or lack of effort {dedication}. One fatal flaw of human beings is we want it the easy way, we see that guy in his Mercedes and think that should be me. We don't know what hard work was required by the owner of the vehicle to get him to that stature. A few will even say "he inherited it!" Well somewhere down the family chain I can assure some hard work and dedication was required to obtain there status.

So lets back up, you made a commitment to try this online opportunity and are now having second thoughts. You can be assured that you aren't the first with this feeling. Being overwhelmed is part of the process if you aren't from this environment. You obviously felt like you could do this when you set out on the journey, now is the time to swallow your pride and fall back on the resources available to you to help you get over the hump. That's the advantage of having a great community {assumming you are part of a group that does}. Let me also throw in a saying, "the difference between and winner and a loser......a winner gets up one more time!"

I wonder if a lot of us look at the end result as our goal, but lose track of the path required to get to that goal. We see the mercedes, but forget about things it requires to obtain the money needed to buy it. Or as my dad used to say when he was alive, "your getting ahead of yourself again son". And make sure you have enough detail in your plan. For example, if you are attempting to work a full time job while also setting up your entrepreneur opportunity at the same time, you can' use a lot of the examples the marketers use. The assumption is that you will be totally dedicated to Affiliate or MLM and nothing else. Set your own pathway, if you do work that job then you don't have to necessarily be on a rush course and let the getting yourself independent from that job be your drive and motivation.

You won't likely see this line on there sales pitch to you either...plan for failure (ok, catch your breath now), what I mean is plan on having failure and have a plan of reaction. Like knowing which person would be your go to if you have a roadblock on setting up a advertisement, etc. It would be the equivalent of a emergency action plan for some type of family emergency. The reason I say this is, you are going to hit roadblocks, you are going to be overwhelmed, you are very possibly going to get frustrated, and it is easier to plan ahead instead of when the crisis hits. And if you never need it, your way ahead of the game anyway.

So get up one more time, if I can do this I know you can too. Thank You for you time,
