I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in May 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

The campground is very run down and poorly maintained. Sites are very small, not groomed or cleaned. Our site had a broken sewer pipe. We notified the owner, and no one ever came to fix it. The public bathrooms were disgusting. Dumpsters were located at the far back of the campground - not convenient at all.


Looked like a dump back there. Very small store. Web site advertised 28 flavors of ice cream at their snack bar. They had three.

Pros: They had cable.

Cons: Poorly maintained, some seasonal sites had junk everywhere.

Nearby attractions: Mystic Seaport

Further comments: Very expensive for what you get. This is the most we have ever paid for a campground, and it was the worst one we have ever stayed in.
