The biggest news for the 2010-2011 season is Oprah's last year on network television. After 25 years, The Oprah Winfrey Show will come to an end. Oprah is making this year all about the viewer, who she says is the real reason Oprah was so successful.

"You will see lots of surprises for other people," Winfrey told the Associated Press. "Dreams coming true for other people. Honoring the essence of what has made this show work for the past 25 years and that's the viewer."

The final season of Oprah premieres today, Monday, Sept. 13.

Here's what's in store for other talk shows:

• The View: Premiered Tuesday, Sept. 7
  This Year: The View opened its 14th season by welcoming back Barbara Walters with special guest David Letterman. Walters was out during the summer recuperating from heart surgery. Letterman stopped by to help kick off the season and talk to Walters about her experience. Season 14 promises new celebrities guests, more topical guests and lots of Hot Topics.
• Live with Regis and Kelly: Premiered Monday, Sept. 7
  This Year: Expect to hear a lot about Live's second annual High Heel-a-Thon early this season. Women from across the country will take part in the mad dash for charity (and prizes). Proceeds from the 2010 High Heel-a-thon benefit the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health in support of The Heart Truth campaign for women's heart health education and research.
• The Dr. Oz Show: Premiered Monday, Sept. 7
  This Year: Dr. Mehment Oz opened his sophomore season by attacking cancer. He underwent a colonoscopy to highlight the importance of the procedure. And, much to Dr. Oz's surprise, the procedure turned up a pre-cancerous polyp. He revealed the news to his family and audience. Viewers can expect the same no-nonsense medical discussion and celebrities guests they've come to love. And Dr. Oz will no doubt find himself nominated for another Emmy. Expect the good doctor to turn up on Oprah's final season, as well.

• The Ellen DeGeneres Show: Premiered Monday, Sept. 13
  This Year: Ellen opens her 8th season with a huge season premiere, storming New York from the runway to Broadway. Plus, in L.A., Ellen will tape her premiere at the 2010 Video Music Awards, with Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry.
• Dr. Phil: Premiered Monday, Sept. 13
  This Year: This season, Dr. Phil McGraw focuses on ending the cycle of domestic violence. Dr. Phil is asking viewers to help end the silence on domestic violence by joining his campaign and pledging to become a Silence Breaker. Expect Dr. Phil to visit his good friend Oprah during her final season. After all, she helped launch his show - now 9 seasons old!
• The Rachael Ray Show: Premieres Monday, Sept. 20
  This Year: Rach is calling season 5 the Season of You. She's asking viewers to push their limits and stop saying "I can't." With that theme, expect a lot of stories about everyday people who have done just that: achieved goals they once thought were unreachable. Oh, and I'd guess Rach will make at least one special appearance on Oprah during her final season.
• The Talk: Premieres Monday, Oct. 18
  This Year: Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Sharon Osbourne launch this new daytime talk show from CBS in October. Though much compared to The View, the co-hosts promises a different kind of show, one that tackles topical issues from the viewpoint of mothers and parents.
• Conan: Premieres Monday, Nov. 8
  This Year: Conan does things his way. What more can we say? The host who proved that you can fill Letterman's spot on Late Night and was unceremoniously asked to give up his seat on The Tonight Show after six months, takes to the air on TBS. And you can bet this will be a Conan that has decided to cross boundaries and forget everything that happened before. He will be fresh, he will be funky - but above all, he will be funny.
