Purchase needed supplies if you do not have them.
Depending upon your window size you might need 2 different size squeegees, I actually have 3 sizes, large, medium and then one that actually fits between the panes of my french doors.
Sheepskin cover pad or terry pad.
Extension pole to go the length of your tallest window, if possible.
You can buy the pole and cover set together at Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.
Bucket with warm water and Dawn detergent, not too much soap, just enough for some suds, depends upon how dirty your windows are.
You can use a regular bucket, its just not as convenient as using a long narrow bucket with two sides, one for soapy water and one for clean, rinse water.
Just depends upon your cleaning budget Get your cover wet with soapy water and attach to cover head on extension pole.
Up and down on outside window, one window at a time please so it does not dry.
Take the squeegee on the extension pole and one downward movement, overlapping just slightly to cover complete window.
Using a clean rag, wipe off squeegee head only after window is completely done.
Use an old towel for wiping off the window ledges/sills after you have finished squeegee the window.
You can do this same procedure for inside windows also, just make sure you squeeze the cover head out really good and lay down towels on the window sill to protect the wood.
Of course, when doing inside windows, be sure and have a polishing rag on hand to wipe down the woodwork when done cleaning the windows.
No need to look for streaks, NONE.
