How to Make Invitations for a Halloween Party

21
    • 1). Fold a sheet of card stock in half vertically to form a card that measures 5.5 inches high by 8.5 inches wide.

    • 2). Use a pencil to draw the outline of a ghost shape onto the folded card stock. Make sure the drawing allows at least one inch of the folded space to remain above the head of the ghost.

    • 3). Cut out the shape of the ghost using sharp scissors, and remember to leave at least one inch of folded space at the top of the ghost, forming a card that can be opened.

    • 4). Draw an outline around the ghost shape using a thin, black felt-tip marker to add dimension and then draw eyes onto the face. You may also want to add a large circular or oval mouth to the ghost face.

    • 5). Open the card and write your Halloween party information inside. Include the date of the party, the time, location and RSVP information. Some people choose to add details about party activities and foods so guests can come appropriately dressed. Also, let the guests know if your party is a costume party or if they should come in regular clothing. If requesting a response to the invitation, do not forget to include a reply deadline in the RSVP information.

    • 6). Place the invitations in the envelopes to be mailed or handed out.
