Samsung U900 Soul Tips or Tricks
- The Samsung Soul, also known as the SGH-U900, is an unlocked mobile phone that works on any network using a SIM card. Released in early 2008, the Soul contains multiple media features in addition to working as a cellular device. To get the most out of the Soul, you can use these steps.
- Sometimes it is frustrating when you need to perform multiple tasks at once on a phone. With the Soul, you can send messages or place a call without closing other windows on the phone. To do this, click the button that looks like an envelope while using any application. You are then given the option of making a call, sending a message, accessing the Internet or listening to music. Any of these can be done while also performing another task. Hit the Select button to access another function. To get out of a task, click the envelope button again and go to "End."
- While at work or at home, there is often information on a phone you may not want others accessing. To prevent this, the Soul has a password lock feature. This password can only be set up while not on an active call. Go to "Menu" and then pick "Settings." Select "Security" and then scroll down to "Phone Lock." From here, select "On" and you will be prompted to enter a code of your choosing. The password must be between four and eight characters and is not case-sensitive. You will be asked to enter the password twice before confirming.
- The Soul allows emails to be sent directly from your phone without getting online and logging into and account. Go to "Menu" and select "Messages." Choose to "Create a Message" and then select "Email." As with any email, you must enter a subject and the addresses of the recipient. You are given a box to type text. The Soul has other options, though. You can insert images by clicking "Options" and then picking "Insert." To add a complete document attachment, you must pick "Options" and select "Add Attachment." You can also make a new attachment and send it by clicking "Options" and "Create Item."
