Students outside the EU/EEA will require a visa to enter Sweden and those from countries within the EU/EEA will require a valid passport and identity card. The initial visa will last 12 months and it will be necessary to renew it until your course is complete. To qualify for a student visa, you will need to have been already admitted to your college or university and also have the funds to support your stay.
