A Sweet Lesbian Wedding Story
Monica and Jasmin are two Sweet travelers who celebrated their wedding ceremony and honeymoon on a Sweet trip to Cozumel in September 2012. The couple, from Albuquerque, New Mexico originally thinking about getting married in their hometown, but friends had recently returned from a Sweet trip and raved about it. The couple decided to check it out and discovered that traveling with Sweet for a whole week was going to be cheaper than renting out a place and hold a wedding in Albuquerque for one day.So, they traveled to Cozumel with six friends and family members. And it was the storybook wedding they only dreamed of. They said they were treated like royalty, especially by Sweet staff members who helped them every step of the way once they decided to book their wedding at the resort. “You have to trust them. They know what they’re doing,” Monica said.
“They made our process so easy.”
“They got it to the ‘T’,” Monica said. “It was just perfect. It couldn’t have been any better. Dealing with the Sweet staff and the staff at the resort was so easy.”
Sweet Gives Back
Although it wasn’t their top priority when they booked their wedding with Sweet, Monica and Jasmin did come to appreciate the volunteer work and eco-friendly vibe of a Sweet trip. “It’s more than a travel company. They definitely give back,” Jasmin said. “The company that you’re giving your money to is doing something for the community."
“The night of the wedding, the staff and services were unmatched,” Jasmin added. The couple raved about returning to their room to find it decorated with candles and rose petals. The resort even provided a wedding cake and a special private dinner for them.
“It was amazing experience. I wouldn’t have done it any other way.” Jasmin said. The wedding wasn’t just perfect for them, other guests were excited for them as well. After their wedding was over, they walked past the dining room and they got a standing ovation.
“We made a lot of friends from different states that we still keep in contact with,” Monica said. They plan to go on another Sweet trip in the near future and a lot of their new friends will be returning too. “We’re looking forward to seeing them,” Monica said.
Monica and Jasmin are not the only couples who were wed on Sweet trips. Shannon Wentworth said, “We've had the pleasure of hosting dozens of honeymoons and weddings. Sweet is ideal for both. You can get married, celebrate with your friends new and old and have a romantic time.”
A Sweet vacation can be an ideal wedding or honeymoon destination. “We have it all,” Shannon said. “Fantastic entertainment, off-the-hook parties, romance on tap and the nicest women on earth. Sweet knows how to celebrate our guests and we do it with relish.”
