Alabama River Lodge

• The Alabama River Lodge in Sardis, Alabama, offers turkey hunting from the middle of March through April 30. As of January 2011, rates were $400 a person each day. The hunting grounds include over 10,000 acres, where flocks as large as 50 have been spotted. Guides take you on the morning hunt and the afternoon hunt is self-guided. Meals, private rooms and linens are available and the lodge can host groups of 30 or more.
  
  

Casey Hunting Camp

• Casey Hunting Camp in southern Dallas county includes 6,000 acres of hunting grounds, but limits the number of turkey hunters to two at a time. All turkey hunts are fully guided and require a three-day minimum visit. The rate for a three-day hunt as of January 2011 was $1500. Turkey hunts are available between March 15 and April 30. Hunts include meals, sleeping quarters and kill handling.
  
  

Water Valley Lodge

• Turkey hunting at Water Valley Lodge in Gilbertown, Alabama, includes guided hunts which often report a 100 percent success rate. With 30,000 acres of hunting grounds, the lodge provides a one-on-one guide, private room and bath, meals and housekeeping. Rates in January 2011 ranged from $1200 for a two-day hunt to $3850 for a seven-day hunt. For an additional fee, afternoon hog or quail hunts also can be included.
  
  

Wildcat Creek Hunting Lodge

• Situated on 4,000 acres in Florala, Alabama, Wildcat Creek Hunting Lodge is available for groups ranging from one to six in size. Turkey hunting rates as of January 2011 were $475 a day per person. Meals include Angus steaks. Hunters stay in one cabin that sleeps up to six. Private lake fishing is also available.
