List Building - Writing Free Gift Emails and Referral Emails - 1

This is one of the easiest emails I write, because I really like to keep it simple.
Basically my subject line is:(name) - a free gift for you...
And this is my email copy for a free gift email: Dear (name), Please accept this free gift from me: (link to gift) Sean I may alter that to:A free gift for you:orHere is something for you: but the real key here for me is that I am giving this to you, no strings attached.
It is just a gift.
Don't do something like: here is a free gift for you; now visit my sales page.
Make it a genuinely free gift, no strings attached whatsoever.
Writing Referral Emails This email of course is where you really make your money.
Actually, you really make your money when you build the relationship with your list.
But this is where you collect the money.
My opinion is that the better relationship you have with your list, the less you need to introduce the product, the less you need to talk in your email about what they are going to get from buying the product.
If you have built a strong relationship with your list via free content emails and free gift emails, and even responsive, or feedback emails, then you have already created the trust necessary to just send people directly to the sales page without much preselling, especially if you have created the product and the sales page your self.
