S10 Performance
- In its final year of production, only one Chevy S-10 model was offered: a 4.3-liter V-6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. This four-wheel-drive LS model was rated at 190 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque according to MSN Autos. A 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine was discontinued in 2003. It was rated at 120 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. These trucks offered a towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds.
- Two generations of S-10 pickup trucks were made, from 1982 to 1993 and from 1994 to 2004. The second generation Chevrolet S-10 pickup trucks were available in regular and extended cab bodies with short and long beds. Later, according to Edmunds, a crew cab was offered, seating up to five passengers.
- The 2004 model was rated at 15 miles per gallon city, 19 mpg highway. The 2.2-liter four-cylinder, found in select 2003 and earlier models, was rated at 22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway.
