Today, it offers more than 70 distance education courses. All of the online programs have accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission Inc. (NLNAC). Online nursing certificate programs offered at Penn State include registered nurse (RN) to bachelors in nursing (BSN) and nursing management. The RN to BSN certificate course is a 33-credit training in which students complete the clinical portion of their training at a local health center. The training will prepare students for supervisory nursing roles and for advanced studies in nursing.
