Wendy Robbins: Advice From a Millionaire Entrepreneur You Can Take to the Bank

10
Wendy Robbins' story has always amazed me.
Its stories like hers that keep me motivated with my business helping women succeed with their ideas.
If you aren't familiar with her story you'd probably find it interesting to know that she was once a filmmaker and had hit rock bottom.
She was drowning in debt.
Then her life changed when she took an idea of hers to the tune of $5 million.
Just like many successful entrepreneurs she found a need and filled it.
She attached gel bobby pin tips to coat hangers and got America to fall in love with the Tingler.
It's a scalp massager.
If you haven't already experienced the Tingler you'll have to try it sometime.
It's been known as the equivalent to the 'Big O' for the head.
Yep, it will send tingles down your spine and have you asking...
"why didn't I think of this!?" Robbins built her business around an idea and a plan.
She was able to 'think outside of the box' and get the attention of celebrities.
Goldie Hawn, Catherine Zeta Jones and George W.
Bush just to name a few.
She uses humor, tenacity, spunk and crafty production skills to brand her business and other products.
Yep, I said other products.
She has also authored 3 books: "Visionary Women Inspiring the World," "Inspiration of Realization" and "Walking with the Wise (with Donald Trump and Suse Orman)" All of these books are full of the wisdom entrepreneurs need to take their idea to their dream level.
Just like I tell my clients, Robbins first advises entrepreneurs to create a new product that fills a need and open niche or improve an existing product or service.
Important, however NOT to reinvent the wheel if you are improving an already successful product.
Just tweak it and deliver it in such a way that it is BETTER.
Second, she advises to reveal the result or benefit.
For example, Robbins calls her Tingler a "better way to relax, instantly, without pills.
" She also advises to "align with the stars.
" Robbins introduced the Tingler at trade shows for celebrity make-up artists who then passed it on to celebrities.
After 'Tingling' Catherine Zeta -Jones on the set of America's Sweethearts...
news got out and eventually picked up by Style Magazine, Robbins' business exploded.
Her next venture is joining Kelly Ripa on TLC's Homemade Millionaires, a show that helps entrepreneur/inventors promote the Home Shopping Network.
Robbins is unstoppable and now it seems opportunities just fall into her lap.
Like I've said before "getting started is the hardest part.
" However unique her story is, it still has similarities of other entrepreneurial successes.
She chose a path, dedicated herself to its pursuit, became unstoppable and got lucky! Funny, how luck just appears after you've paved a way for it to your doorstep.
She is generous about sharing her knowledge with her "been-there-done that" advice.
Her lessons are profoundly valuable for every entrepreneur that wants to take their business to the level of their dreams..
