    • 1). Apply acidic juices to your skin to reduce the size of pimples. Squeeze an orange or lemon into a small dish. Gently cover the affected area with juice using a soft washcloth. Leave the juice on overnight.

    • 2). Mix oatmeal with plain yogurt until it forms a thick paste. Apply the paste to affected regions and let it dry. Rinse your face after 10 to 15 minutes. The oatmeal mixture reduces the oiliness of your skin and helps to get rid of acne.

    • 3). Soak two or three green tea bags in hot water. Remove the tea bags from water and place them in the refrigerator. Place the tea bags on skin affected by acne to reduce inflammation and redness.

    • 4). Target a particularly stubborn pimple with toothpaste. Apply enough white, non-gel toothpaste to completely cover the pimple. Leave the toothpaste overnight to reduce oil production and kill the bacteria that causes acne. Repeat for several nights until the pimple is gone.

    • 5). Use aloe vera products to relieve skin damage caused by acne. Apply an aloe vera gel or soap to your skin two or three times per day. Check the label to ensure it is noncomedogenic. Allow the aloe vera to sit on your skin for five minutes before washing it off. This cools and heals your skin.

    • 6). Avoid eating greasy, fatty foods. Oils from these foods end up on your face, exacerbating your acne problems.

    • 7). Do not touch your skin. Your fingers are covered in dirt, bacteria and oils that cause acne to form and spread. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap before touching your face. Apply products with a soft washcloth whenever possible.
