How to Make a Jabba the Hutt Costume
- 1). Lay your hat on a flat surface and start filling garbage bags with newspaper.
- 2). Tape the filled garbage bags to your hat and orient them so that they are in the rough shape of Jabba the Hut's head. Leave a small space between the bags for you to be able to look through when you wear the hat.
- 3). Tape tan construction paper to cover all of Jabba the Hut's head.
- 4). Cut out two eye shapes, two nostril shapes and a large mouth out of the tan construction paper. Cut out a large tongue out of the red construction paper. Use the markers to color these body parts the appropriate color and then tape them to the head.
- 5). Draw the stretch marks and rolls on the head with a black marker. Use your picture of Jabba the Hut as a guide.
- 1). Draw rolls on your tan shirt and tan pants to mimic the rolls on Jabba the Hut's body.
- 2). Put on the oversized tan shirt and pants. These clothing items should be at least five sizes too big for you.
- 3). Stuff your pants and shirt with newspaper until you look like a large blob, similar to Jabba the Hut.
- 4). Put on the Jabba the Hut head and look at yourself in a mirror. Make any adjustments you need -- including adding, removing or moving newspaper -- until the head and body part are indistinguishable and you are the size and shape of Jabba the Hut.
