How to Get Smoke Smell Out of Leather Shoes
- 1). Put the two cloths under a faucet running with tepid water. When the rags are wet, turn off the faucet and wring them out multiple times until they are just damp. Hang one cloth over the faucet and keep the remaining cloth in your hand.
- 2). Put the saddle soap onto the damp cloth in your hand. Fold the cloth in half and then rub the two halves together until you see the the soap turn into lather.
- 3). Rub the lather over all leather surfaces. Set the soapy cloth in the sink.
- 4). Grab the damp cloth off the faucet and wipe off all of the lathery saddle soap.
- 5). Put the shoes in a cool, dry place. Avoid putting them outside in direct sunlight as this can cause the leather to fade or dry out.
