Sealing

• 1). Place the ladder against the building's wall and adjust it to reach the area needing repair.
  
  
• 2). Stabilize the ladder by placing bricks at its feet or having someone hold it in place for you.
  
  
• 3). Ascend the ladder and spread the sealant over the leaking area with the putty knife. Allow to dry.
  
  

Covering

• 1). Carefully climb the ladder and put down the polystyrene covering material. Put on the respirator mask.
  
  
• 2). Cover the asbestos with the insulation panels made of polystyrene foam.
  
  
• 3). Using the 2-inch nails, attach new shingles on top of the polystyrene.
