Multiple Blogs, Multiple Streams of Income? Read Before You Do It

25
There is false conception in the market about multiple streams of income.
While it is great to have it, it is not applicable on the Internet.
You should diversify, but starting multiple blogs is not the way to go.
Believe me, the "gurus" who recommend that you start a blog in 10 or 20 different niches are misleading you.
They may not do it themselves.
They may stop doing so long ago but their products that teach others who to start multiple blogs sell like hotcakes so why should they stop selling them? The following are a few reasons why I think multiple streams of income is a flaw online: 1.
Online, the market is huge No one could possibly dominate the entire market on their own.
Even Microsoft has competitors and they don't own the entire operating system market.
Do you think Microsoft will be that big if they focus on too many things at the same time instead of the operating system first? 2.
Limited time and resources When you are getting started, you have limited time and resources to create content and grow your blog.
If you divide your time between 10 or 20 blogs, you are going to create half-hearted content.
None of them will be noticed.
You will do much better is you focus on one niche and become big in it.
Do whatever you can to create content that stands out.
Other bloggers will notice and you will grow your audience.
Remember, just when you begin to think you are reaching all the audience, you will reach another level and grow your readership even more.
Refer to the first point above.
3.
Quality When creating a product, quality is not an option.
It's a must.
People can find all sorts of products nowadays.
Unless your product is of quality and unique, you will not get many sales.
Well, with proper promotion, you may.
But those who buy will not come back to buy again.
4.
Passion If your goal is just to make money, you are going to be doomed.
Sorry for the harsh world, but out there, the reality is ruder.
If you feel the 2 hours you spend on one blog is killing yourself, wait until you meet a competitor who can spend 16 hours a day and have fun doing it.
You will be out of the market sooner than you think.
The only way you can survive is to be passionate about your topic and focus on just one.
