A Pug"s Life

30
Pugs have round eyes which are expressive and full of so much life.
They can hypnotize you with those eyes for more food! Pugs are just too cute with their wrinkly faces and curled tail.
Their glossy coat comes in two colors, fawn or black.
Those cute ears come in two sizes, rose or button.
Whichever way, you've got an adorable pet to love.
You've heard people say they are just too cute while others say they are ugly.
Well, it's their personality you will fall in love with the most and if you want to match their personality with their looks, you will believe they are just so adorable.
A pug's life expectancy can reach up to 17 years.
However, generally speaking, 12 to 14 years is the average life expectancy.
Of course, there are things you can do to make sure your pug has a long, healthy life.
One of the biggest problems that can occur in your pug's health is a result of overfeeding him.
This will affect both his front and hind limbs causing joint problems.
Not giving him enough exercise is another problem.
Make sure you walk him at least twice per day and monitor his health with visits to the vet.
Pugs are really good around children and like to show off with their over the top personalities.
If you want a dog to exercise with, do not get a pug.
He's a great companion in the house but should never be outside for long periods of time in the heat since they are very heat sensitive.
"Much in little" is what describes the pug's personality: a lot of personality in such a little body.
The two basic colors that they come in are fawn and black, with the black ones being a little harder to come by.
Once, while researching pugs on the computer, I came across this really cute saying, "Pugs Not Drugs", which was invented by Gemma Correll, who is an artist and writer.
I thought, "What a great saying to describe the feeling you get while taking care of such a wonderful pet?" He will be such a great companion, doing nothing more but wanting to please you and love you unconditionally.
This is truly a wonderful feeling to have.
So, you're probably thinking I have one and this is why I'm writing about it.
Well, my goal is to get one in the near future.
First, I have to be able to quit my job and work from home so that I can take good care of my pug.
This saying just kind of stuck with me so much that I even bought my own t-shirt with this saying, "Pugs Not Drugs", with a really cute picture of a pug on it.
It sure is a great conversation starter.
