Petsafe Bark Collar Instructions
- 1). Insert the 6-volt battery included with the PetSafe Bark Collar into the device, by opening the battery panel on the underside of the receiver with your fingers and inserting the battery. Replace the lid to the battery compartment and press downward until you hear it click back into place.
- 2). Undo the buckle on the collar, and place the collar around your dog's neck, with the receiver near the dog's throat.
- 3). Snap the buckle into place after the collar is positioned correctly and adjust the size by pulling on the strap located next to the buckle. The collar must not too tight, as it can be uncomfortable for your dog and may lead to injury.
- 4). Turn the collar on by rotating the dial on the receiver so that the white arrow points to the "On" position. When your dog barks, the device will emit a very mild static shock that gradually increases in intensity as the dog continues to bark over the next few minutes. After three minutes of silence, the device will automatically turn off.
