Method

• 1). Open the book to a page in the first quarter of the book.On the right side of the opened book, use your ruler and pencil to draw a large rectangle around the entire page. Leave a ½- inch border around the edges.
  
  
• 2). Line up your ruler with the left line of the rectangle. With a sharp penknife, begin cutting into the pages of the book. Cut 20 pages at a time, removing your cut-outs as you go. Repeat with the remaining lines. Continue cutting until there is one inch of uncut pages left at the back of the book.
  
  
• 3). Measure the interior bottom, top, and sides of the cut-out portion of the book. Cut a piece of felt according to those measurements and glue each piece into place using a hot glue gun. Allow the glue on the felt pieces to dry.
