Network Marketing - Yes, These Eight Team Values Will Help You Build an Organization With Ease

7
"Let's go out to dinner as long as you let me pay for it," I told my good friend, Jeff.
"Sure!" he said enthusiastically, "but why?" "You see," I told Jeff, "I'm experiencing something that's quite unique these days.
" It's integrity.
I told Jeff that I'd like to take him out because of his integrity.
His word has always been law.
Always has since I've know him for the past 3 years.
If he says he'll return my call later, he does.
If he says he'll respond to my email message within 24 hours, he always does.
I have other friends and relatives too who'll say 'I'll call you back later on today' and never do.
I've spoke to them about being courteous to say that if you're going to call me, call me.
But don't say you'll call and then don't.
Do you feel me? Am I the only one who experiences this? I'm all about building teams and I'd like to share with you some of my keys to a great group.
Here are my eight team values: 1.
Make Your Word Law.
Integrity means doing what you'll say.
Just like my friend, Jeff, he made his word his law.
He did what he said that he was going to do.
I want to be around this kind of people.
However, I must also lead by example.
2.
Knowledge.
I believe that power really comes from the implementation of knowledge.
You want to teach people the skill sets necessary to reach success - I lead conference calls with "Getting Started" training calls on any other necessary skill sets.
You want to help others access the skills to get to the top.
You'll want to have great resources for your team.
3.
Do You Trust? Trust is a big deal.
You must be trustworthy yourself.
One of the underlying cores of effective teams is to be trustworthy.
If there is a lack of trust, it's a definite deal breaker for me.
4.
Are You A Giver? You know, I tell my team members to be a "Go-Getter" but also to be a "Go-Giver.
" I believe that generosity is second nature for the many leaders.
If you are truly a leader, be generous.
5.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work.
I think that one of the biggest single misconceptions in building a network marketing team is that your team is there to serve you.
It's actually the other way around.
This value will help you develop more time freedom in the long run with your network marketing business.
I always ask myself "How can I serve you?" This helps my mindset to focus on where I need to concentrate my energy.
When building highly effective associates to work in unison, you want each team member to have their own personal branding.
6.
You've Planted the Seeds.
Nurture It, So Be Patient.
Leaders know that building a group takes patience and lots of persistence.
I'm never short of persistence.
So growing your team and maturing as a leader is definitely a process.
Remember it is a constant process and is never a destination.
7.
Respond with Ability.
The meaning of sponsor is being a supportive partner.
It means being personally responsible.
Everyone must be responsible for each individual effort.
I tell my team that I'm simply a bridge from where they are to where they want to be, but you've got be responsible with your actions.
You can't be a control freak if they implement your suggestions.
At some point, it is up to them to develop their own pathway to mutual success.
8.
Praise.
Yes, I know that everyone love to hear what a good job they're doing.
However, do we give enough praise? I recall a study on elementary-aged school kids.
Do you know that the children received about one 'yes' to every 20 'no's' during the week long study? My parents have taught me to praise people and praise often.
To acknowledge often is important.
Simply saying "Good job!" This foundation will help you develop a winning culture with your network marketing team of associates.
So be in charge of your life and do what you say you'll do!
