The process of changing motorcycle chains is very easy and does not require you to spend money paying someone else to do it for you. You can change your motorcycle chains by yourself and within a short period of time you will be riding on new bike chains.

A large crescent wrench

€ Using the large crescent wrench, carefully remove the lug nut on the rear tire. The next is to pull out the axle spacers on both sides of the tire. To avoid staining your hands with the axle grease, hold the bolts with the old rags.

€ Observe the motorcycle chain carefully. This will direct you identify the master link clip (It is thicker than the other links). When you find the link, remove the clip and simply pull the chain away.

€ To insert the new chain, place it on the tire's sprocket and gently work it from the inner sprockets as well. When the chain is in place, pull it together and place a master clip.

€ Your chain is now put in place. The last thing you need to do is to re align the rear tire. Place the axle spacers on both sides of the tire and fix the lug nuts back. You can use the crescent wrench to tighten the nuts.

€ Occasionally checking if the chain is tight enough- place the bike in a perpendicular position and if the chain moves, then it definitely needs some tightening.
