How to Make a Quick Apple Turnover
- 1). Preheat the oven to 400 F. Cut the pastry sheet into 4 equal squares.
- 2). Peel, core and dice the apples.
- 3). Mix the apples, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons white sugar, 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar and 1/2 tablespoon caramel.
- 4). Spoon a quarter of the mix into the center of each pastry sheet.
- 5). Fold all of the corners into the middle or fold the sheets in half diagonally to make triangle-shaped pouches.
- 6). Seal the edges of the pastry with a little milk.
- 7). Sprinkle the large-grain sugar and a dash of cinnamon on the outsides of each pastry.
- 8). Bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.
