How to Make a Quick Apple Turnover

    • 1). Preheat the oven to 400 F. Cut the pastry sheet into 4 equal squares.

    • 2). Peel, core and dice the apples.

    • 3). Mix the apples, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons white sugar, 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar and 1/2 tablespoon caramel.

    • 4). Spoon a quarter of the mix into the center of each pastry sheet.

    • 5). Fold all of the corners into the middle or fold the sheets in half diagonally to make triangle-shaped pouches.

    • 6). Seal the edges of the pastry with a little milk.

    • 7). Sprinkle the large-grain sugar and a dash of cinnamon on the outsides of each pastry.

    • 8). Bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.
