Itch, Itch, Itch - just won't stop!
Toenails are yellowed and thickened, red bits between the toes too? No energy - just can't be bothered? Head aches and Joint pains? Even a horrid smelly discharge? Just what is going on here?

A Yeast Infection! That's probably what! So, What is the Yeast Infection Cause?

Not a simple solution, I'm afraid. You see, everybody has Candida Albicans, which is a type of Yeast naturally occuring. Now, as a rule your good bacteria will keep everything in it's right order and amount where it won't cause harm. But - surprisingly frequently, and for many reasons if there are not enough good bacteria or they are overwhelmed then this Candida Albicans can multiply way out of control. Resulting in a Yeast Infection or Candida as it is also known, with all it's accompanying horrible symptoms.

Lets look at some of the reasons why this can happen.

One of the most common culprits is the good bacteria being killed off by Antibiotics, that you were taking for something completely different, most likely! Killing the good as well as the bad, so there isn't a sufficient quantity left to keep the yeast in check. Probiotics are useful in complementing the friendly bacteria.

Another bacteria factor is if your body is in too much of an Acidic state. Bad bacteria and Yeast Love acidic states! This Acidic environment is often caused by you not eating properly. You know - too much sugar, ( something else that the Yeast absolutely flourishes on. Incidentally sugar imbalances are one reason why Diabetics are frequent Candida sufferers ) too much junk and fast food, lots of over processed and refined foods that had all their goodness remove yonks ago! As you can probably guess, the foods that encourage an alkaline state, where nasties do not thrive are good old fresh vegetables and fruit, nuts, seeds and grains. Wholefoods that actually nourish you. Taste better too!

A poor Immune system. Now if you are not a Cancer sufferer or have HIV, your Immune system being under par may just be to do with stress and constant worry, overwork, lack of exercise, lack of sleep and generally not taking good care of yourself. Maybe you have recently been unwell - had the flu etc. Best to start rebuilding it!

Hygiene matters. Especially in warm weather and after doing exercising you must wash and dry really well. After all everyone knows that Fungi love warm and damp areas and Yeast is a type of fungus! Best not to use highly scented products, though, as these can unbalance your skins natural Ph - It's natural acidic balance, and let infection take hold. Letting air flow freely helps so it's best not to wear too tightly fitting clothes.

You see, there are many, many more causes. A Yeast Infection is actually a message from your body letting you know all is not as it should be!

So you can't usually stop the Yeast Infection by applying creams or treating one of the symptoms. You may cure that particular aspect but as there's usually a whole lot of contributing factors your Candida will probably just return. Again and again and sadly getting a bit worse each time.

No, the likely only way to a permanent cure is to look at the whole body. This is the Holistic approach. You need to follow a system and eliminate the Yeast Infection Cause for lasting relief.
