How to Drain the Carburetor Bowls on a 1995 Honda Nighthawk 750
- 1). Turn the fuel valve to the "OFF" position. This will prevent more fuel from being fed to the carburetors while the float bowls are draining.
- 2). Locate the slotted float bowl drain screws under each carburetor. Place a small container under the first carburetor and unscrew the drain screw with a short flat screwdriver. Allow the fuel to drain from the float bowl.
- 3). Inspect the float drain screw and its O-ring or gasket for damage. If the gasket is torn or damaged, replace it to prevent fuel leaks. Clean the drain screw by wiping it with a shop towel before reinserting it into the carburetor's float bowl.
- 4). Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until all four carburetor float bowls have been drained. Wipe away any fuel that may have been spilled with a shop towel.
