58
Photoshop as many people know is one of the most popular graphic editing programs on the planet.
Millions of people are using Photoshop techniques to give a professional touch to their works and make them look outstanding.
That is if they know how to use Photoshop.
If you don't know how to use the Magic Wand tool, then rest assured as you will soon find out how to deal with it.
Using it you will be able to select different areas of your image which later on can be cropped edited or copied.
You might say that there are other such tools out there but those tools generally require you to trace down the areas you wish to edit, crop or copy with the mouse which is a very annoying and painstaking process.
But using the magic wand you will be able to select those areas based on the color properties of each pixel.
To engage in using the tool you will have to select it while in Photoshop either by pressing the "W" key that stands for "wand" or by clicking it using your mouse.
On top of that you will also have four methods which you will be able to use to control the wand.
The first is tolerance, this can be set between 0 and 255 and it specifies how close you will want Photoshop to be to the color you want.
Anti-aliasing will successfully have your edges smoothened out by having the color transition between background pixels and edge pixels softened out.
Contiguous is an option that will let you select the pixels containing matching color info that are associated with the original selection.
Sample all layers will use the info available from all the visible layers to select colors.
This is especially useful for high contrast pictures and it will definitely make a difference.
