How do you find a pink rocking horse? That is a great question, and one I've been trying to answer for a while.
See, I have a daughter, she's very young, and very cute.
Irresistible at times, the spoiled thing! She knows how to get what she wants.
She wanted a pink rocking horse.
Hmmm...
I had never heard of such a thing.
Where on earth can you find one? I searched Wal-Mart and Target.
No such luck.
They seemed to be evading me.
She tells me her friend got one for her birthday, so I know that they exist.
I begin doing what any other 21st century mom does--I search the internet.
I assume this is going to take forever and so I tell my daughter that I may not be able to get one and that she has to wait.
She does not like that! To my huge surprise, when I do my searches on the internet for pink rocking horse I actually find something.
Actually I find several.
Apparently, people have been making these things and nobody let me know! I would have loved to have one of these as a child...
back then all horses actually looked like horses.
Now there are even more available.
There are rocking cats, dogs, elephants, tigers, bears, all sorts of creatures.
Seems wrong almost.
But they exist all over the place.
Now I have to choose.
I guess maybe it would have been easier had I just found one single pink rocking horse, I could have just bought it and if she didn't like it, well, it was the only one.
Now I had choices..

I choose a simple plush rocking horse.
Comfortable, soft, fun, and not too frilly.
She absolutely loves this thing.
It's a bit absurd.
Usually she plays with something for a week or so, and during that week she won't leave it alone.
This she hasn't left alone in months.
She will even fall asleep on it! She is too cute...
