Balsa Model Airplane Kits

Nothing could be farther from the truth; there are literally hundreds of kits on the market now.
The Sig line of DIY balsa kits is reappearing, there are many small manufactures making laser cut kits for electric in cottage industries all over the world, these can be of the greatest value.
Several of the British model magazines have begun to market laser cut kits of their plans, they sell short kits (all the cut parts supplied, you pick up the sheet and stick wood).
These are wonderful value as they also offer the plastic and fiberglass parts separately so you can pick and choose as much as you need and buy it as you go along if you wish.
There are several major kit cutters in the USA and Britain that cut kits from independent designers plans.
Two Google searches, RC plans and model airplane kit cutters will get you all of them.
These models are usually of the larger scale types and you usually have to buy the plans and accessories separately.
Don't be afraid of the kits if you have some experience, as there is a world of help available in the forums such as RC Scale builder and RC groups.
Here you find build threads on most plans and kit available There are many smaller kits available from small manufacturers that have some of the best designs.
