Everyday Hand Tools for Women
- If you are a woman, you have probably experienced the awkwardness of using a hand tool that was a little too heavy or had a hand grip that was a little too big. Fortunately, there are now a wide assortment of everyday hand tools for women that are easier to use, and for your more feminine side, they sometimes come in a selection of pretty colors, too.
- No girly colors for this set of pliers. These 8-inch-long nose and 6 ¾-inch pliers come in the standard Craftsman colors of black with red trim and is designed for cutting and bending the type of wires used in electrical work. What makes them different than the normal Craftsman pliers set is that they are made with a smaller hand grip. Sears doesn't list its Comfort Fit tools specifically for women, but the advertising it has used in the past lets you in on the secret.
- Five-in-one screwdriver lets you change from a Phillips to a flat head and even has a hex driver to remove bolts. With a handle sporting a pale pink background and a floral pattern of blue, you will never have trouble claiming it belongs to you if it ends up in your husband's toolbox.
- With a weight of only 13 ounces, this hammer is perfect for hanging photos or fixing the fence. Lightweight, sporting a black grip handle and pink body, this hammer also has a magnetized nail groove that not only will pick up any nails that you drop, but helps hold them in place while you're using the hammer, too.
- Not only are these three paintbrushes the perfect shade of pink, but they are made with an ergonomic design to help relieve strain on your hand and wrist while you're painting. They come in 1.5-inch straight, 2-inch angled and 2.5-inch straight. Made with right and left handed grips, these three paintbrushes not only have styles but provide you with comfort, too.
