Maximum Cure, Minimum Time With Flashmax

11
As with any business and service-oriented enterprise, time is money in dentistry, hence it is imperative to explore advancing dental technology for efficient devices and tools. The Flash Max curing light is known as one of the most powerful curing lights, emanating up to 4000 Watts at most suitable wavelengths.

In dental science technology, a curing light is used to polymerize dental material such as composite resin. The wavelength of the light could vary according to the device, and, in general, there are currently four types of curing lights, which are termed as Tungsten halogen, LED or light emitting diode, Plasma arc curing, and laser.

The FlashMax P3 is the latest breakthrough technology available in the market with a powerful light that can treat as much as 2mm to 3mm in depth in just one to three seconds. The American Dental Association champions the FlashMax P3 light as an efficiency-enhancing device that is highly proficient in curing. In addition, the device complies with the guidelines and regulations of the Medical Devices Directive or MDD. The large dose of power using diode technology in the FlashMax P3 is the secret to this proficiency. More specifically, it can emanate all four high power diodes at 15Watts to facilitate a wider spectrum of light compared to other LED light devices available onthe market. The device uses a new introduction in batteries, which is the LifePo4 thatis said to accommodate between 70 200 polymerizations before needing a recharge.

In addition, the FlashMax is cordless and lightweight with only two time settings while the light is easy to clean and uses disposable tips. It is also designed to be held by the dentist either pencil or pistol style and the faster cure ensures that the dentist doesnt have to bend over the patient for long, hence mitigatingneck and back pain.

To identify some caution when using the FlashMax the light should not be directed to the eyes and it is recommended to use protective goggles or eyewear when administering the light. It should not be used without the tip thatconcentrates the emanation or the gum could be damaged.Tips should be replaced after each treatment to prevent contamination. The section of the device used for holding and the dock on which it is charges must be wiped with a cloth using a regular cleaning solution and ensure that fluid does not enter the diode opening to prevent damage.
