It seems like Vancouver best foodie events sell out faster and faster every year, so for the next two big food festivals--the Vancouver International Wine Festival and the Vancouver Poutine Festival--I'm advising readers to get your tickets now, before they too sell out, too.

This year's Vancouver International Wine Festival (formerly known the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival and now partnered with Bard on the Beach) runs from February 25 - March 3, 2013.


Though the name has changed, the wine festival retains its status as Vancouver biggest wine fest, with wine tastings and samplings, multiple dinner and brunch events, and the mammoth International Tasting Room at Canada Place. Buy tickets here.

The second-annual Vancouver Poutine Festival on March 9 - 10, 2013--which almost ran out of poutine last year because crowds were so much larger than expected--has booked a bigger venue this year--Main Street's Heritage Hall--for two days of poutine, poutine sampling and live music.
