How to Convert Microsoft Office Contacts to a Mac Address Book
- 1). Insert the USB thumb drive in the appropriate port on your Windows computer, launch Outlook and select the Address book.
- 2). Highlight the desired contacts by holding down the "Control" key and pressing the mouse button to select each contact. Release the "Control" key when you're finished selecting contacts.
- 3). Select "Forward as vCard" under "Action" in the top menu bar to create an email message containing all selected contacts as separate attachments in vCard format.
- 4). Select all attachments in the email message by clicking the "Attachments" section of the email message, selecting "Select All" under "Edit" in the top menu bar.
- 5). Click the "Save" button next to the "Attachments" list and save these files to your USB thumb drive. Click the "Save" button.
- 6). Safely eject the USB thumb drive from the Windows computer.
- 7). Insert the USB thumb drive into the appropriate port on your Mac computer and double-click the hard drive on your desktop to open a directory of files.
- 8). Select all contact files on your drive and drag the file to the application icon for Address Book located on your dock.

Safely eject the USB thumb drive from the Windows computer and insert the device into the appropriate port on the Mac computer. - 11
Launch the Address Book application, select "Import" under "File" in the top menu bar and select the "LDIF" option. - 12
Locate the exported contact list created in step 9 and click the "Open" button to add the contact list to your Address Book.
