Pez Ingredients
- The largest ingredient in PEZ candy is sugar followed by glucose syrup. PEZ also contains, in order of content: citric acid, tri-sodium-citrate, hydrogenated vegetable fat, E471, flavour, no colourings.
- PEZ states that it's candies are gluten free, and do not contain any animal-based ingredients or raw materials of animal origin. It is therefore suitable for vegans. PEZ is also free of nuts, milk and soya.
- Per 100 grams, PEZ contains 400 calories, or 20% of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) based on a 2000-calorie diet. The same serving provides 1.6 grams of fat, just over 2% of the RDA.
- Pez contains 94.6 grams of carbohydrates per 100 grams, all of which comes from its sugar content. This equates to just over 30% of the RDA of carbohydrates. There are trace amounts of protein in PEZ candies.
