While the Hamptons certainly are no stranger to the art world, a relatively new art happening returns this month due to popular demand for a fourth season of pairing discerning collectors with an exclusive roster of modern and contemporary art galleries. Art Market Hamptons will take place at the Bridgehampton Historical Society from July 10 to 13.

This year’s fair brings together 40 galleries in newly designed tents and an expanded overall space.

Last year’s fair welcomed more than 9,500 visitors.

Among those who will be exhibiting are FREIGHT + VOLUME which will bring artists ROMER + ROMER and Damian Stamer, East Hampton’s own eric firestone gallery which will showcase work by BAST and Henry Chalfant, Manhattan’s Forum Gallery which will feature Japanese paper constructions by Cybelle Young, and Los Angeles gallery 101/EXHIBIT which will present a solo presentation of Ian Ingram paintings alongside New York dealer Jen Bekman Gallery which will have works on hand by Christian Chaize.

A Benefit Preview Reception and VIP Party will be held on opening night, July 10, from 6 to 10 p.m. The evening will benefit LongHouse Reserve, a cultural organization which enriches the Hamptons community via educational programs and access to their renowned sculpture gardens that include works by Lynda Benglis, Dale Chihuly, Eric Fischl, Willem de Kooning, Grace Knowlton, Sol LeWitt, Yoko Ono and more. Art Market Hamptons is a production of Art Market Productions, which has been producing art fairs since 2011.

Art Market Productions was created to produce a different type of art fair, one that focuses on the overall experience and on connecting collectors with dealers in optimal settings and contexts.

The group currently produces four art fairs: Art Market San Francisco, Art Market Hamptons, Texas Contemporary and Miami Project.
