How to Send Christmas Chocolates
- 1). Research shipping times and costs for the destination. If you are shipping internationally, you may need to send the chocolates at least one week before Christmas to guarantee their timely arrival.
- 2). Make or purchase the chocolates as close to your planned ship date as possible. If necessary, refrigerate the chocolates until the day arrives.
- 3). Place the chocolates into a gift box. If you have purchased truffles or chocolate from a store, they will probably come already packaged in a box. If you've made your own treats, pack them carefully into a small decorative box.
- 4). Put the gift box into an insulated foil envelope. These envelopes are specially designed to maintain a cool temperature to prevent melting.
- 5). Slip the envelope into a shipping box. Stuff bubble tape around and underneath the envelope to prevent it from moving inside the box.
- 6). Close the box and seal securely with packing tape.
- 7). Write "Protect from heat" on the outside of the box. This will alert postal workers to the fragility of your box's contents.
- 8). Select the fastest shipping option. Opt for overnight or two-day shipping for the quickest possible arrival.
