How to Replace the Air Filtration System on a Honda Pilot

    • 1). Open the door to the glove box and empty the glove box of its contents.

    • 2). Locate both black tabs located on the inside walls of the glove box. Push in on the taps and lower the front of the glove box to the floor of the Pilot.

    • 3). Locate the black tray behind the glove box. Push in on the tabs on each end of the black tray and pull the tray out of the housing.

    • 4). Pull the old cabin filter out of the tray and place the new filter, Honda part No. 80292-SHJ-A41, into the tray with the arrow facing toward the floor.

    • 5). Slide the tray back into the housing until it snaps into place.

    • 6). Lift the glove box up against the dash until it locks into place.
