Marketing your business with articles is an excellent starting point, but you must remember that this is just one step in the marketing process.
You can think of your article as the starting point for the many products and courses you will be able to create from your original idea.
I will give you some examples of exactly what I mean by this.
First of all, start with an idea about some area of your business.
It may be a lesson you want to share with your prospects, the retelling of a story that would benefit people, or even a how-to guide on how to more easily accomplish a goal.
No matter what it is, your article is the starting point to share this information with others on the internet.
Now that you have written your article and submitted it to an article directory, immediately turn it into a blog post.
You may want to change it a little bit, by 25% or so, or you can leave it exactly as it is.
An even wider audience of prospects will now be able to read your information on your topic.
Always make your blog the second stop along the road with this process of marketing.
Now you are ready to move on to the repurposing content process.
Use your article as the foundation for a short report, special report, white paper, e-course, or even a teleseminar.
The idea is to distribute your idea to as many people in as many different forms as possible.
Don't limit yourself to writing.
A teleseminar can be interactive, people will hear your voice, and you will get a sense of the questions people still have after hearing what you have to share with them.
Finally, turn the original idea from your article into a product or course you can sell.
This may seem like a huge step, but it really isn't.
Once you see how easily this is done, you will be able to turn yourself into a product creation machine to create residual income streams forever, as well as passive income.
