How to Create Personalized Invitations
- 1). Make your own invitations out of cardstock and crafting materials. Use your favorite colors, markers, and hole punches. Make them fun and unique. If you're making invitations to a party with an ice cream sundae theme, punch cherry-shaped holes around the border of the cardstock.
For a classy twist, monogram your invitations. Stamp, write, or even paint your initials on the invitations to make them more personal. - 2). Package the invitations in a distinctive way. If you're having a clam bake or beach party, roll up the invitations and slip them into bottles with sand and miniature shells. If you're having a dinner party, write the invitations on tissue paper and glue them to pretty candles.
- 3). Make cookies or cupcakes, and use a toothpick to attach invitations to them. Or frost baked goods and write the party information on top with frosting or a marker that contains edible ink. Box up the goodies and hand-deliver them to your invited guests.
