How to Store an Opened Container of Baby Juice
- 1). Seal the opened container of baby juice by squeezing out as much air as possible before replacing the lid. Leave no more than half an inch of headspace above the juice when the container is sealed.
- 2). Wipe down the outside of the sealed baby juice container with a clean kitchen towel.
- 3). Place the sealed baby juice container into a refrigerator that is running between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 4). Wrap the sealed container of baby juice with a frozen cold pack or bag of frozen vegetables. This will bring the temperature down quickly and reduce the time in the bacterial danger zone.
- 5). Discard the container and any remaining baby juice when the expiration date has been reached. This date is usually printed clearly on the top of the container of baby juice.
