The Carnival Cruise Line's Rules For Dining
- Passengers are required to choose a main dining time when they book their cruise. There are three choices: early dining, late dining and your time dining. If a passenger chooses a time that is unavailable he will be put on a wait list. Guests traveling in groups of eight or more cabins must confirm their dining preference no later than four to six weeks before sailing.
- A passenger's position on the wait list is determined by their booking date, making it impossible for anyone to "cut" in front of the people before him. Passengers are not permitted to hold extra seats at their table to see if they become available.
- Passengers are allowed to bring one bottle of wine with them in their checked baggage. Anyone who wants to drink their wine in the dining room is charged a $10 corkage fee. Passengers must be at least 21-years-old to consume alcoholic beverages in the dining room or any area on the ship.
